Last week's cryptic question

An MP, half a supermarket, a footballer (twice) and a prophet's mum can all be found where?

No one got this... we'll give you a clue if you want to have another think before looking at the answer: it's about a Peter Kay sitcom.

See the answer

They can all be found at the Phoenix Club, as these are all characters from Phoenix Nights.

The MP is Alan Johnson, the same name as one of the musicians in the the club's bane Les Alanos (played by Steve Edge).

Half a supermarket is Spencer (Daniel Kitson), as in Marks & Spencer, who is the barman.

The footballer who appears twice is Kenny Dalglish... the constantly lying Kenny Senior (Archie Kelly) and handyman Young Kenny (Justin Moorhouse).

Meanwhile the prophet's mum is Catholic bar worker Holy Mary (Janice Connolly).
