Heather Basten has won the trophy for Best Casting in a TV Comedy Series at the Casting Directors' Guild Awards, for her work on Dreaming Whilst Black.
The BBC's third comedy festival - featuring panel sessions and masterclasses for comedy creators - will take place in Glasgow between Wednesday 22nd and Friday 24th May 2024.
The Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society have announced a new partnership with Queen Margaret University to provide an accommodation option for hundreds of Fringe participants as part of a new 'festival village' during August. Rooms will be priced at £269.50 per week, with the campus a six-minute train ride away from Waverley Station.
Applications open on 11th January for the second cohort of the BBC Comedy Collective - the collection of bursaries focused around up-and-coming comedy writers, producers and directors.
