A major survey is aiming to assess the size and scale of the UK live comedy sector for the first time. Those that work in live comedy are being asked to spend 5 minutes completing the survey to help with efforts to lobby for government support for the industry.
BBC Director of Comedy, Jon Petrie, today called for the TV industry to "save our sitcoms" with a focus on protecting homegrown storytelling and creating the next generation of classics.
