Katie Churchill becomes Comedy Executive at Two Brothers Pictures

Comedy producer Katie Churchill is stepping into a new role as Comedy Executive at Two Brothers Pictures.
The TV production company, which previously made Fleabag, has recently filmed Boat Story and Dinosaur, is currently working on new Channel 4 series Entitled.
Churchill, who was one of the executive producers on Dinosaur, is now joining Two Brothers Pictures to "grow the company's historic, award-winning comedy slate".
She previously worked at Sky Studios and Tiger Aspect, where her credits included Lazy Susan, Seen and Silo.
Ther production company say: "Katie will be working with the team to bring audiences more funny, joyful, and surprising comedy with an eye on returnable series." She will remain a director at Berk's Nest, the live production company she co-founded.
She says: "To be disgustingly sincere, I'm truly thrilled to be joining the Two Brothers team, who have such a passion for the comedy genre. I'm so excited to work towards continuing the stellar record they have built in making popular, groundbreaking, and most importantly very funny shows."
Churchill's appointment is one of a number of role promotions and hires announced by the production company today. Dovetailing both drama and comedy will be Cleo Hetherington who joins as Head of Development from Drama Republic. She comments: "What a joy to be a fan of a production company's work from afar and then be able to join them! I love the shows that Two Brothers Pictures make; they're bold, ambitious, funny, and exactly what I want to watch. I can't wait to help the team to develop yet more brilliant television. It's a properly exciting time for the company and I am thrilled to be a part of it."
Additionally, executive producer Sarah Hammond has stepped up as chief creative officer, Michael Latif moves into the role of chief operating officer, Emma Pike is head of production, and Daisy Mount joins as a drama executive.
Two Brothers Pictures was founded by acclaimed writers and showrunners Harry Williams and Jack Williams in 2014.
