Writing radio comedy
Radio can be a great place for comedy writers to start. There are plenty of slots available and, compared to TV, radio commissioners are much more likely to take a punt on new writers (and performers). Stylistically, radio comedy showcases a huge range of approaches: from intimate 15 minute pieces, to gag heavy and surreal sitcoms, to sketch shows and musical comedy.
