What's your show about?
"What is this show about?" It's a question you'll hear many times - from agents, producers, script editors and commissioners. Even friends, who've listened to one too many film and television podcasts, will be asking it.
Not that long ago, it would have been okay to reply "it's about a group of friends and it's really funny". Or "it's about normal family life and it's really funny". Or "it's a sitcom set in a DIY store... and it's really funny". Or "it's about a young social worker and, you're gonna love this, it's really -" You get the idea.
But...
