A lot of us hit a wall on Friday. True, it feels a bit pathetic even mentioning a bout of stuck-at-home gloom while the nation's key workers are so overworked and overstressed, but it was clearly widely-felt. The full gravity of this crisis was hitting home, a double Groundhog Day of a weekend loomed as the novelty of the unexpected sabbatical wore off, and those of us in and around the comedy business felt completely useless.
