Gigs are back, and two eye-catching press releases plop into the inbox. First, there's a mail about Shaparak Khorsandi's new tour. Khorsandi is the popular stand-up and author who previously went by the forename Shappi on stage, but recently reverted to the full Persian version. As she explained in a newspaper column, confused teachers and piss-taking schoolmates took their toll, years ago:
"At 16, I reinvented myself and became 'Shappi' in all formal records....
