My Comedy Career: Paul Powell

We were thrilled Paul Powell agreed to take on our My Comedy Career questions. As an experienced writer and producer on panel shows and sitcoms, he has lots of great insight and advice to share.

Tell us what you do in your job.

I spend most days on Skype, working with my colleagues Dan Gaster and Will Ing. As writers and directors of our own production company (Black Dog Television) we knock around show ideas, update our development slate, chat to writers, agents and commissioners, as well as working on various scripts and treatments.
