He's most recently an author, of the tough-tackling football book Who Are Ya?, and a long-serving TV writer (Have I Got News For You; A League Of Their Own etc), having previously enjoyed a lengthy stint as roving reporter on Match Of The Day 2. Plus a bit of podcasting.
