How to write a stand out treatment
"Just send us over a short treatment and we'll go from there!" Producers will breezily say this as if it's the simplest thing in the world, but to many writers it's the equivalent of saying "Just disarm this bomb using nothing but this toothpick and we'll go from there!" or "Just carve a perfect scale model of Michaelangelo's David out of this block of cheese and we'll go from there!".
