Hot Water comedy club launches online subscription channel

Liverpool's Hot Water comedy club is expanding its online presence by launching Hot Water Originals, an online subscription channel delivering 1 hour comedy specials.

Hot Water has built up a strong online presence over the last few years, and has nearly 50,000 subscribers on its YouTube channel, which showcases highlights of comedians' sets at the club.

It's now revealed that the next step in its plan is to offer full length stand-up specials starring some of its club regulars. Running via the Facebook platform, Hot Water Originals will cost £2.29 a month with "new specials added every single week."

The comedians featured will receive a 50% profit share from the venture.

The club, talking to fans, explains on Facebook: "Subscribe now for unlimited access to our Hot Water Originals full length specials from all of your favourite comedians. Comedy specials from Paul Smith, Adam Rowe, Freddy Quinne, Bethany Black, Troy Hawke and many more. Comedians receive a 50% profit share of all subscriptions so you'll be supporting comedy from the ground up. New exclusive comedy specials added every single week."
