Combatting writer's block
"There's no such thing as writer's block. That was invented by people in California who couldn't write." - Terry Pratchett
Pratchett, a brilliant comic writer, was, perhaps, letting his own immense talent slightly get the better of him in the quote above. If you sit down to write and never get beyond typing "Scene 1", then maybe his droll observation is pertinent and writing is not for you. But, if you hit problems, get stuck, face the occasional off day (or off week), then that is completely normal. Pratchett was a god, and you are most likely a mere mortal....
