Stand-up comedian and writer Laura Davis has signed with Chambers Management.

Davis, who is from Australia but now lives in London, made her name in 2008 as a national finalist in Melbourne International Comedy Festival's RAW competition. She has returned to MICF ten times with eight different solo shows, garnering a reputation as one of the most talented and distinctive acts performing at the festival.

Her sixth offering in 2015, Ghost Machine, won her both the Golden Gibbo and the Melbourne Fringe Best Comedy Award. Marco Polo, her 2016 show for MICF and the Adelaide Fringe Festival, won her the prestigious Comedy Channel Moosehead Award.

Davis made her Edinburgh Fringe debut in 2017 with Cake in the Rain and returned in 2018 with a reprise of Ghost Machine. Both shows received critical acclaim and secured subsequent runs at London's Soho Theatre.

This summer will see Laura return to the Fringe with her latest show, Better Dead than a Coward.

Chambers Management was founded by agent Hannah Chambers. The boutique agency now has 14 acts on its books, the most high profile being Jimmy Carr and Sarah Millican. The agency's full line-up can be seen via BCG Pro BlackBook
