Take one for the team
Teamwork. It's a word that strikes fear into the hearts of many comedy creators - particularly writers.
Of course, it makes sense. Writers are often very driven people, developing specific creative visions that they spend many hours honing. Writing scripts takes a long time, and a lot of determination. A singular mindset and an ability to concentrate intensely are necessary.
Once you're in production, a degree of compromise will be required. As Big Boys writer Jack Rooke puts it:
