It's funny the things that stay with you, many years on; the comments that stick in the craw. I'll always remember one comic (who's a lot better known now) pointedly suggesting in an email Q&A that perhaps one glorious day he'd progress to full-interview status, rather than me just lazily sending questions over. Which was spoken mainly in jest, but struck a nerve, and has remained lodged in my memory ever since.
