Rewriting
Rewriting. It's likely you will spend more time rewriting a script than tapping out its first draft.
Of course, the first draft is important. It's the foundation on which your finished script is built.
Ideally, your first draft will contain most of the essential elements of plot and character that will feature in the finished piece.
But it may not. Indeed, the changes you make whilst rewriting might be so enormous that the first draft of your script and its eighth draft feel like completely different shows.
