Comedy agents: No win, no fee
Newer writers worry massively about getting an agent.
Partly it's a self-confidence thing - securing an agent feels legitimising.
Some fall into the dangerous trap of believing everything will be easy now: the commissions - and the money - will automatically start rolling in.
The reality in this game is that writers with agents will still be doing most of their hustling themselves.
It's the writer that will be generating the ideas and networking.
But agents can help. They will read your work and put you in touch with producers.
