Mistakes to avoid in your scripts

The author of this piece recently read a script by a talented young writer, with natural aptitude, whose work demonstrated a great turn-of-phrase and ear for dialogue but still presented a number of common - and easily avoidable - problems.

In this column, we'll consider them generally, in the hope members can avoid making these mistakes themselves.
