Just a minute: hooking the reader in the first two pages
A half hour sitcom script is likely to be 30 to 35 pages in standard formatting (think Final Draft or its equivalents).
A commercial half hour is likely to be shorter: a 22 minute script may only be 25 pages, whilst still allowing room for material to be cut.
