How to make your script stand out

Relatable, original, hilarious: these are all important elements of a good script.

But new writers face a particular pressure to impress with their work. Here are some things you need to do to ensure your script stands out - in a good way.

Make sure the dialogue works

We read a lot of scripts, and there are some mistakes we see over and over again.

Insufficient character differentiation. Very long speeches. Not enough jokes.
