First things first
Writing a sitcom won't always be a pleasurable experience. It is, as we have discussed before, meant to be difficult. After all, if it wasn't difficult everybody would be doing it.
That said, there is little more satisfying than finishing a draft of a script - even if the script requires further work (as it probably will). And there is no greater experience than listening to an audience laugh at your jokes.
Making people laugh is a noble calling. Or we think so, anyway.
