Unfortunately, there's only one thing that's 100% guaranteed as a comedy writer: failure.
Don't worry, this isn't going to be one of those pieces. It's just a cold hard fact, every writer fails. It doesn't matter how good you are, how well known or well received your work may be, you'll still be failing far more than you are succeeding. That's just the nature of the beast, so, embrace the failure and for Pete's sake, please just keep writing!
