Development hell

Superb news! A producer is developing your sitcom script. Congratulations!
They may at this stage offer you an option - which is a small amount of money to develop your idea with you. (And by small, we mean small - 750 quid, perhaps.)
If they're serious about you, they might also recommend some agents you can engage with.
The development phase is likely to take a while - and will almost certainly involve multiple rewrites of your script, or perhaps a completely new script.
Assuming you are completely new, you are unlikely to receive a full script fee for this...
