Picture this. A "hidden gem" of a London rooftop bar - so hidden it was a 40 minute walk from the nearest tube station. I'm at a meet-up event for actors and agents (if you've never been to one, congratulations on your excellent life choices).

It's exactly as you'd imagine: a shabby-chic clique of hopefuls huddled around overpriced cocktails, all dressed in that specific shade of theatrical black that screams "I'm an artist, but I could also serve at a funeral".
