When we chose to do a show together, we were both looking for an act who was 'same but different'. We are both outsider characters on stage, looking to the audience's approval and acceptance. We thought the 90s board game "Dreamphone", where players try to track down who had a crush on them, would be a good metaphor to represent this whilst simultaneously hinting at some of the retro/stuck in the past references we both use in our acts.
