The original photo is me, aged 10, on a boat in Skerray, in the north of Scotland, looking thoughtful. My mum took that photo.
My show is all about that boy on the boat; childhood and body image, feeling insecure and out of place my whole life, and all my personal refurbs and reinventions along the way. It's really funny and got a five star review in the first week of the fringe, as well as described as "a pacey, poignant and very funny hour" by another publication a couple of days ago.
I managed to recreate the original photo by finding the exact same outfit on Vinted. I love Vinted but I love this poster more. Trudy is such a phenomenal photographer and Dani is such an amazing graphic designer. They deserve this. Please vote for them by voting for this poster. It would especially make the thoughtful boy on the boat very happy as well.
