Above all else, I strive to communicate everything a potential audience member needs to know: what type of performance it is, and, more importantly, what it will feel like.
I wanted Rhiannon to look like the star she is. Because I wanted to demonstrate her power and vulnerability in the show, I took inspiration from 1970s sex comedies, old books for girls about growing up, and women's magazines. I always partially eclipse a review quote with her hair to underline that she is the star.
