In 'The Lost Play of Barry Wayworm', Diane Doe and Alex Fishwife write a pretentious play about writing a play, a play which itself is about writing a play, and that play is about writing a play, and so on.
For 'The Lost Play of Barry Wayworm' poster, we sought a design which reflected the character's self-satisfied intellectualism and 'high concept' approach to theatre, whilst also showcasing their amateurism. The poster is a parody of a Fringe theatre poster, as the show is a parody of fringe theatre, whilst also being fringe theatre, and as such having a fringe-theatre poster.
Any flaws or cliches you find in the design were intentional jokes. Anything you liked should be rewarded.
