This was a tricky poster to realise as in truth, I was nowhere near close to knowing what the show was going to be when we needed to submit it. I knew I was going to be playing several different characters, but I also knew none of them were going to be frontrunners for the main image. So I wanted a shot that was me, but not me. A character, but also an Everyman. Fortunately Ed had done a great shoot at the Battersea Arts Centre a few years previously so we already had this image. For the design, we looked at some really cool effects, colours, text etc, but in the end settled on the simplicity of the shot itself. I love it. It's exactly what I had in mind when I had no idea what I wanted!
