I'm the person who doesn't fit in either side of the pond, with my own people or the people I'd rather be with. I am a Gefilte Fish Out of Water and I'm making jokes about it. The show is part stand-up and part sketch comedy but having a fish on the stool with the mic was too obvious. Giving her a Jessica Rabbit vibe with my hair and the way I see myself (I am deluded) seemed less obvious and more comedic.
