Victoria Wood was an English comedian, writer, actor, musician and singer who attained famed in the 1970s, quickly becoming one of Britain's most-loved comedy stars through the 1980s and 90s. Born in Prestwich, Manchester, she is best remembered for the acclaimed TV series Victoria Wood As Seen On TV, dinnerladies, and multiple Christmas specials.
