Tim Dawson is a writer and Contributing Editor at BCG Pro. He began his career when he was 18 when his original sitcom, Coming Of Age, was piloted for the BBC.

Coming Of Age ran for three series, with Dawson writing every episode. It was produced by the team behind Two Pints Of Lager And A Packet Of Crisps, a series for which Dawson also wrote.

Dawson has written for numerous comedians, including Adrian Edmondson, Stephen K Amos, Dick & Dom, Joe Pasquale and Jon Culshaw. He wrote an episode of Doctor Who spin-off Lady Christina, a light science fiction drama starring Michelle Ryan and Warren Brown, based on a character created by Russell T Davies and Gareth Roberts.

In 2020 Dawson wrote Not For Turning, a comedy drama for BBC Radio 4 about young people in politics.

Dawson's comic prose has appeared in numerous outlets and he has also written on cultural issues.
