Taron Egerton quits West End show Cock
Taron Egerton has withdrawn completely from appearing in his West End show Cock where he was starring alongside Bridgerton's Jonathan Bailey. The announcement that the Rocketman actor has dropped out 'for personal reasons' comes after he was replaced when he tested positive for Covid-19 and fainted on stage during the opening night of the play.

Jonathan Bailey captivates as Taron Egerton's sexually conflicted lover.
Isobel Lewis, The Independent, 16th March 2022Review: Cock at Ambassadors Theatre
The play's humour is its greatest strength, even if it's surprisingly tame considering the obviously provocative title. Some of the lines are brilliantly witty and earn some well-deserved laughter from a grateful audience.

The Mirror, 6th March 2022Preview - The Jonathan Ross Show
Jonathan is talking all things The Great British Bake Off on his show this week as he is joined by the GBBO judge Paul Hollywood and new presenter, Noel Fielding.
Eloise Craven-Todd, On The Box, 16th September 2017In terms of guests, reliable chat and the odd headline-grabbing revelation, Jonathan Ross is at the top of his game in his comfy ITV chair. This week, The Great British Bake Off's Paul Hollywood and Noel Fielding pop in to talk about cakes and stuff. Over in Hollywood A-list corner, there's Jeff Bridges, Halle Berry and Julianne Moore as well as chat from Taron Egerton. Craig David provides the music, completing the something-for-everyone lineup.
Hannah Verdier, The Guardian, 16th September 2017Eddie the Eagle review
Taron Egerton flies in this comedic, partly fictionalised biopic of the unlikely ski jumping star.
James Mottram, The List, 24th March 2016Last episode in the current run of Ross's chatshow. As is often the case, it's a thinly veiled plug for an upcoming movie, in this case the imminent Eddie The Eagle. Taron Egerton and Hugh Jackman both appear, just in case we hadn't quite got the message from their earlier encounter with Ant & Dec. Plugging another new film - an adaptation of JG Ballard's High-Rise - is Luke Evans. Comedian Shazia Mirza is also on the bill, and there's music from Primal Scream, touting their hilariously titled new album, Chaosmosis.
Andrew Mueller, The Guardian, 19th March 2016Eddie the Eagle review
The story of Eddie The Eagle is turned into an excellent family comedy drama by Dexter Fletcher.
