Radio Times review

The last time we saw Mr Bean he was bringing the house down at the 2012 Olympics Opening Ceremony, playing one note of Chariots of Fire. Can he (alongside Ben Miller and Rebecca Front) possibly be as funny for 2015's Comic Relief?

Anyone who's anyone from the world of comedy is on BBC One for this comedy marathon. Dawn French dusts off her dog collar to become the Bishop of Dibley (despite some famous rivals); and David Walliams gets in a right kerfuffle as patronising carer Lou, who appears to have a new charge - Professor Stephen Hawking. Miranda Hart, Stephen Fry, Russell Brand and Cardinal Burns also pop by.

There are stunts, dares and the unmissable sight of Dermot O'Leary dancing his socks off (will he survive this danceathon?).

In between all this hilarity are sobering film clips reminding us what this is really all about: donating money.

Away Away-O: Stephen Fry away from Twitter until May

Dearest twitter followers and other interested (or bored) parties, just a quick note to say that I'm going to be away until May.

Review: QI at the University of Kent, Canterbury

It would be easy to assume that attending popular panel show QI without Stephen Fry is a little like going to watch U2 only to be told Bono was going to sit this one out because he's a bit busy somewhere else. Probably saving the lives of some poor unfortunates, no doubt. But such an analogy would be far too unkind. Especially when a little bit of history was made on Monday night.

Elliott Spencer on husband Stephen Fry

Elliott, 27, a writer and comedian who is 30 years Stephen's junior, said their age gap was no problem and said: "Humour is the key to everything"

Radio Times review

In the publicity blurb, guest Stephen Fry is described as "the nation's favourite polymath" (because our nation has so many polymaths). But we should add the words "newly married" after Fry wed his partner Elliott Spencer.

In his first television appearance since the wedding, Fry will doubtless give us all the details of a very low-key ceremony at a Norfolk register office. The occasion was marked by Fry on Twitter as "Gosh. Elliott Spencer and I go into a room as two people, sign a book and leave as one."

Also on the sofa are Andrew Flintoff, star of Sky 1's Lord of the Fries (oh dear) where the cricketer takes a chip van around the country, and comedian Kevin Hart.

Stephen Fry on a reunion with Hugh Laurie

"We do miss it, I see him as often as possible... and we just fit right back into our old modes of speech and silliness and it's divine"

Video: Stephen Fry on the BAFTAs

This weekend Stephen Fry will host the glitzy and glamorous BAFTAs for the 10th time. It's been a busy year for him already as he got married to his partner Elliott Spencer in January.

He's been speaking to our Entertainment Correspondent Colin Paterson about his first two weeks as a husband, his controversial comments on religion, and hosting Sunday's star studded award ceremony.

Stephen Fry "astonished" by reaction to his God tirade

Stephen Fry has revealed he was "absolutely astonished" by the huge public reponse to his recent attack on religion, insisting that he had never intended to offend anyone.

The newly married broadcaster created a storm last week when an interview was broadcast in which he said that any God who created this universe was "an utter maniac, totally selfish" and "evil".
