A Hartlepool comedian has urged fans to buy tickets for her show only from the official provider after scamming attempts.

A comedian has branded the work of a police force as 'ridiculous' after an officer mistook her toy gun for a suspected firearm. Stephanie Aird said she reported online trolls to two young Cleveland Police officers around two weeks ago but nothing could be done. The 51-year-old was stunned when two older policemen returned to her home in Hartlepool on Tuesday afternoon to investigate reports of a suspected firearm.
