David Tennant stars in Jonathan Ross's new comic

Doctor Who star David Tennant has landed another major sci-fi role - as a Simon Cowell-style evil genius in Jonathan Ross's latest comic book.

This week's Hollywood star with something to plug is Danny DeVito, who has lent his unmistakeable voice to the title role of the latest attempt to turn a lovable Dr Seuss book into an even more lovable film - The Lorax.

But no doubt many of us will be a tad more interested to see what Ross gets out of fellow guests Simon Cowell and David Walliams, whose sparring on the Britain's Got Talent judging panel could well turn out to be the story of the sixth series, which gets under way earlier in the evening.

They're both known for being funny, frank interviewees, too, and therefore perfect sofa fodder. If that weren't enough the very brilliant Dara O'Briain drops by too, hopefully with news and inside titbits from that other talent-show juggernaut, The Apprentice.

Rounding things off, there's music from singer-songwriter Labrinth (who just happens to be signed to Cowell's record label Syco).

The verbose host welcomes his last batch of guests for this series, and it's a strong line-up of Hollywood star Danny DeVito, comedian Dara O'Briain and, in a rare TV interview, Simon Cowell alongside fellow Britain's Got Talent judge David Walliams. There's also an extraordinary musical turn from chart-topping grime artist Labrinth - who happens to be signed to Cowell's Syco record label.
