Hi Simon. Who are you and what do you do in comedy?
I'm a comedian, writer and award-winning podcaster.
Who do you most admire in the business?
Daniel Kitson. Not just because he's a very brave performer and talented but he's managed to avoid becoming famous but is still massively respected by industry and performers alike. I'd like to be in the top comedians in the UK but not famous.
The comedy industry is competitive. Why should people pick you to work with?
I work hard and smart. If something needs doing I'll do it and to the best of my abilities. Equally, I adore collaborations and think it's the future.
What's the best advice you've ever been given, read or heard?
"The next idea is the one that keeps you up at night" - Tim Ferriss
"Always do the 5 minute jobs straight away or they become 10 minute jobs" (my best advice to anyone being lazy with admin)
Where would your family be most surprised to find you?
On the TV.
If you could pick one superpower, what would it be?
I'd want the ability to shapeshift. Then I'd turn myself into my enemies and ruin their personal lives.
