How Red Dwarf became classic comedy, wobbly sets & all
The classic sitcom has been enjoying a revival of sorts on the BBC: Still Open All Hours, a Keeping Up Appearances prequel, and now even a new series of Porridge (surely a crime in itself). Meanwhile, three million years into deep space - or as it's better known, the comedy channel Dave - Red Dwarf is re-launching for its 12th series. Before its twelfth series lands on Dave in October, I'm rewatching all of Red Dwarf from the beginning. This week it's time to give quiche a chance and ponder where all the calculators go in Red Dwarf III.
Sophie Davies, Cult Box, 14th September 2017Four new photos released for Series XII
While things aren't looking good for a drowning Cat and a somehow-suddenly-rather-aged Lister, it's better news for Kryten, who's being waited on hand and foot by a group of fellow mechanoids; and Rimmer, who for some reason appears to have got himself a promotion to Navigation Officer, and what's more seems to be wearing a somewhat old-fashioned uniform...

Ian Wolf, On The Box, 27th October 2016Red Dwarf XI: episode 5 - Krysis
