The penultimate episode in this daft challenge series finds our intrepid taskees charged by Greg Davies with rescuing a cat from a tree and smuggling an entire pineapple upon their person. Prizes on offer this week include a range of our comics' most-treasured "blue" items, including Doc Brown's copy of Feel No Fret by the Average White Band, a blue riot helmet from Richard Osman and a mucky fridge magnet from Jon Richardson. It's all to play for, then.

Taskmaster: series two - episode 2 review

On this week's episode of the comedy challenge show, we watch some disturbing music videos, horrible culinary habits, and learn that Joe Wilkinson looks like a battered toaster.

A new series of the show in which Greg Davies sets a series of increasingly irritating tasks for famous comedians, this week comprising Jon Richardson, Katherine Ryan, Joe Wilkinson, Doc Brown and Richard Osman. At stake and up for grabs is the most important document each comedian owns. In the case of Joe Wilkinson, it's his marriage certificate, so nothing trivial. The biggest take-home from this is that lateral thinking is clearly not a comic's forte.

Taskmaster is great at displaying people's laterial thinking.

TV review: Taskmaster, Dave

It is no surprise that comedians are ruthlessly competitive. What I didn't realise until Taskmaster came along was how cunning and crafty they can be when he comes to getting one over on their stand-up rivals.

Richard Osman: 'I love crying'

The TV writer and presenter on his kids, Judge Rinder and wanting to enjoy the gym.

Forty-five minutes of high spirits in front of a rowdy audience - Play To The Whistle isn't so much a sport quiz as a chimps' tea party hosted by Holly Willoughby. Team captains Bradley Walsh and Frank Lampard attempt to keep things steady, while Romesh Ranganathan supplies banter. The show distinguishes itself, however, with the inclusion of physical games, which add an element of surprise. Diver Tom Daley and career panellist Richard Osman are tonight's guests.
