Hannah Verdier, The Guardian, 9th March 2020Inside No 9: The Stakeout review
The fifth series of Inside No 9 goes out on a high tonight - though that's a position it's rarely left. No wonder two more seasons have been ordered already.

Oh bloody hell. It's the final episode of the fifth series of Inside No. 9. And I'm probably not the only person who thinks that this is the best series yet.
Bruce Dessau, Beyond The Joke, 8th March 2020Inside No. 9, Thinking Out Loud, review
An unusually clumsy effort from TV's most inventive duo.

Sophie Davies, The Custard TV, 2nd March 2020The Referee's a W***er review
That wonderfully distinctive ability to constantly and consistently raise their creative game shows no signs of flagging five series in.
Dodo's Words, 2nd March 2020TV preview: Inside No. 9 - Thinking Out Loud, BBC Two
It's another stylistic curveball for the fifth episode in the fifth series of Inside No. 9. I wondered if creators/stars Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton could sustain their high standard in this run, but if anything they have surpassed it.
Bruce Dessau, Beyond The Joke, 1st March 2020Review: Inside No. 9 conjures up an elaborate treat
In what has so far been a very experimental series of Inside No. 9 (Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton have said themselves that they think it's their most varied series to date), this fourth episode, "Misdirection", is the first one that perhaps wouldn't feel out of place in an earlier series of the show.
