Both The Guns of Adam Riches and The Trap are in their infancy, and as yet are patchy offerings.

Popular sketch trio Jeremy Limb, Paul Litchfield and Dan Mersh, known collectively as The Trap, have made their mark as both performers and writers in recent years. Bad Play, their series of shows spoofing dodgy student drama, has been well received, and the group returns to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe this year with Bad Musical, billed as the worst musical ever conceived.

Some of their ideas hovered around the edge of funny - for example, the job interviewer interviewing for a job interviewer - but others only produced mild amusement, and never the hilarity and excitement enthusiastically promised by the preview press information.
