Talk about broadening your remit. Usually, C4's Big Fat Quizzes are merely satisfied with tackling year-sized slices of pop culture and current affairs. This time, though, Jimmy Carr rocks up with a panel game covering a whopping 100,000 years of human history. Guests including Mel Giedroyc, Richard Ayoade, Noel Fielding and Chelsea Peretti attempt to wring whimsy from historical happenings such as witch hunting, landmarks in the biological sciences and - nostalgia alert - 1970s board games.
Mark Gibbings-Jones, The Guardian, 5th January 2016Review: Noel Fielding, Colston Hall
Two words: audience participation. If they don't make you cower in your theatre seat, you may enjoy the second act of An Evening With Noel Fielding. But you've got to sit through a wonderfully whimsical stand-up set first.
Serena Cherry, Bristol 24/7, 15th December 2015An Evening with Noel Fielding - review
For fans this is a must see show, but even those with little knowledge of Fielding's more off-beat work should find this an entertaining and joyful evening of comedy.
Jo Beggs, The Reviews Hub, 11th December 2015Noel Fielding releases Christmas single
Noel Fielding has launched a bid for Christmas No 1 - with the aid of Idris Elba. The Mighty Boosh star has collaborated with Kasabian's Sergio Pizzorno for psychedelic glam rock number Can't Wait For Christmas, which is released on YouTube today.

James Kettle, The Guardian, 20th November 2015An Evening with Noel Fielding hits the road
One half of The Mighty Boosh takes his surrealist humour on tour and talks tennis line judges, after-show fun and peppermint tea.
Brian Donaldson, The List, 4th November 2015With the imperial QI war of succession over, and Sandi Toksvig taking over from Stephen Fry as schoolmaster-in-chief, dad TV's favourite quiz-ee Alan Davies has slowly been expanding his own media principality. His Dave show, for which he sits in the host's chair, takes the bold step of not actually being a quiz, with guests from Germaine Greer to Noel Fielding chatting round a table, unburdened by the uniquely British love of point-scoring.
The Guardian, 26th October 2015Noel Fielding: the wackiest man in comedy
Noel Fielding isn't sure when the whole celebrity rock'n'roll comedian thing got out of hand. It may have been the time he was in a hotel room with Courtney Love and a few others and Pete Doherty burst in, placed a top hat full of kittens on the floor and ran out. It could be the evening he spent handing out surgical gloves to strangers with the Welsh actor Rhys Ifans.
Ed Potton, The Times, 24th October 2015Film review: Aaaaaaaah!
One thing is certain. You won't see another film like Aaaaaaaah! this year. Or, probably, any year. And not just because Steve Oram's directorial debut has no dialogue except for ape-like grunts, but also because it features Toyah Willcox having a shit in a kitchen and Noel Fielding getting his knob gobbled in a seedy cameo.
Bruce Dessau, Beyond The Joke, 18th October 2015Noel Fielding interview
He worked 'incredibly hard' to elevate the Mighty Boosh to arena-filling world tours. Then they imploded, Luxury Comedy got cancelled and so did Never Mind The Buzzcocks. Noel Fielding frets about being 'in limbo', the possibility of children and being the next Spike Milligan.
