Jon Richardson and Lucy Beaumont have announced that, after nine years of marriage, they have separated.
The duo, who were introduced by mutual friend and fellow comic Roisin Conaty on the stand-up comedy circuit in the early 2010s, married in April 2015. They have an eight year-old daughter, Elsie.
The comedians both posted the same statement on their social media profiles at the same time today, which says:
After 9 years of marriage, we would like to announce that we have separated.
We have jointly and amicably made the difficult decision to divorce and go our separate ways.
As our only priority is managing this difficult transition for our daughter, we would ask that our privacy is respected at this sensitive time to protect her well-being.
We will be making no further comment.

Series 5 of Meet The Richardsons (pictured), the sitcom they star in together that is partially based on their real lives, started on Dave last week. The eight part series, which is available in full on UKTV Play as a box set, will continue airing on the channel on Monday nights until 27th May.
Spoilers: The final episode in the series sees the duo renewing their wedding vows, but also a UKTV executive revealing to the characters that the network won't be renewing their programme for a sixth series.
