Judi says: "I think I am still in shock that I will be part of this amazing show. I've watched it for many years and admired the phenomenal abilities of these dancers and celebrities that have taken part and dedicated themselves to learning a new craft. I'm truly looking forward to pushing myself in something that I could have only dreamed of doing and now it's actually coming true!! I can't lie I'm soooo nervous but excited at the same time!!"

Love has experienced a stratospheric rise in prominence over the last twelve months, appearing as a regular panellist on ITV panel show Sorry, I Didn't Know, and co-host in Channel Hopping With Jon Richardson, plus guest appearances on formats including The Last Leg, CelebAbility, The Ranganation, Celebrity Juice, Hey Tracey!, The Graham Norton Show, The Stand Up Sketch Show and Guessable?.

Outside of comedy, Judi is one of the regular line-up on ITV's daytime discussion show Loose Women and has previously competed in Celebrity MasterChef on BBC One.

Her professional dance partner in Strictly is expected to be revealed later in August.
