- He joins in the contest's fourth week, replacing Rufus Hound
- Hound has been axed by bosses after contracting covid-19
Matt Richardson is to join ITV talent show Dancing On Ice this weekend.
Now in its thirteenth series, the ice-skating contest returned on Sunday 17th January with a line-up including comedian Rufus Hound.
Now, after testing positive for coronavirus and already having had to self-isolate and miss competing in the programme, Hound has been removed from the production by producers, with fellow comic Richardson taking his place.
He will partner with professional skater Vicky Ogden as the fourth episode of the series airs, this Sunday evening at 6pm on ITV.

Hound is not the first person to leave the contest this year, with Denise van Outen forced to withdraw last week after sustaining a partially dislocated shoulder and tendon damage to her left shoulder during rehearsals.
Other competitors include Jason Donovan, Lady Leshurr and Colin Jackson.
