Russell Brand has revealed his new tour, Exposed.
He has announced series of theatre dates in November and December. Full details can be found on russellbrand.com
The text to accompany the tour is: "What is real? Who are we? What is the solution? And where did this baby come from? In Russell Brand EXPOSED the controversial comic explores these themes along with media, politics, sex, fatherhood and death. And I should know, because I am him."
Brand has recently been performing a number of warm-up dates in preparation for the shows.
Since his last tour he has settled down with girlfriend Laura Gallacher, who he proposed to in June. They are due to have a baby together soon. Brand is due to appear on The Jonathan Ross Show on Saturday. In the episode, which has already been recorded, he says that becoming a father has taught him to enjoy monogamy.
Speaking about the baby, he said: "I've accepted the idea that that person will be more important than me. 'Jesus Three', I'm thinking of calling him or her. We don't know the gender. I may not even ever impose a gender upon it, let the child grow up and be the whatever the hell it is, never tell it there is such a concept."
Brand also revealed to Jonathan Ross that, when working as a postman as a young man, he stole money from people's letters to fund his drugs habit. He said: "I should not have stolen those things. I feel bad about it now."
It was revealed last week that Brand is to write a book about addiction. Expected to be published in September 2017, he is aiming for it to be the "definitive" guide to the disease of addiction.
In other news, the comedian has resurrected his topical online show The Trews. He wound up the format in August 2015 after 366 episodes, but has now posted a new video on his YouTube channel in which he says he'll be producing new episodes on a weekly basis.
Below is this week's episode of The Trews, in which he discusses the debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. At the time of writing it has nearly reached 800,000 viewers.
The Jonathan Ross Show is on ITV on Saturday 15th October at 10pm.
