As is tradition (although they were socially distanced this year), the celebrity guests on The Big Fat Quiz Of The Year were sat in front of a collage of the most talked-about celebrities and public figures of the year. However, viewers spotted that radio presenter Jama had been seated in front of a huge photo of her ex-partner, Stormzy, whom she dated for four years.

Now here's a disparate bunch: Baker-turned-presenter Nadiya Hussain, comic Micky Flanagan and grime don Stormzy. But the real pull is undoubtedly that extraordinary enigma-cum-dazzling fashion and music icon/real-life demi-goddess Grace Jones, promoting Sophie Fiennes's new documentary about her, Bloodlight and Bami. Is it too much to hope she'll mete out the same volley of slaps she once dealt Russell Harty?

Compared with the zing and bonhomie that characterise Graham Norton's chat juggernaut, Ross's tried-and-tested approach can seem a little unsexy and plain at times. Just as well that the presenter's guests this week include London grime hero Stormzy, alongside the reliably lovely Annette Bening, plus Jamie Bell, Bradley Walsh and Vince Vaughn. The musical guest is pop dullard Jamie Lawson, but you can't win 'em all.
