Thames Clippers host their first comedy nights
London's river buses are to host their first comedy nights. Two sailings in the next couple of months will feature stand-ups performing as the clippers ferry the audience past London landmarks including Battersea Power Station, the Houses of Parliament, Tate Modern and Tower Bridge. Comedians taking part include Tim FitzHigham making a more comfortable journey on the Thames than he made in 2003, when he set a record for navigating 160 miles on the river in a paper boat.
