OnlyFans comedy talent hunt review
In a bid to expand away from its image as a conduit for home-made porn, OnlyFans has launched a comedy 'creative fund' with a £150,000 prize fund - £100k for the winner, £25k for two runners-up. You probably wouldn't bet on that being enough to overturn the site's reputation, but you can't deny that's a generous contribution to kick-starting a comic's career.

On Tuesday, The Comedy Store is opening to do it's first ever gig since Lockdown with a very special event, The Funny Women Awards 2020 Final. Since the 1st of April this years event has been running online with 320 entrants all competing to win in a place in the final that has seen comedians such as Katherine Ryan, Sara Pascoe, Desiree Bunch, Sarah Millican and Kerry Godliman all make it and gone onto become household names. Over the next few days we have exclusive interviews with the finalists! The first comedian we talk to today is Mary O'Connell.

Some of the acts have been revealed for the forthcoming six-part series, BBC Presents: Stand Up For Live Comedy. Shows will come from venues around the UK including London, Belfast, Glasgow and Bristol. The show will be released on BBC Three, with a repeat on BBC One the following week.
